The Brambuk Cultural Centre in Halls Gap was built in 1989 to honour the cultures of the Jardwadjali and Djab Wurrung Peoples. Architect Greg Burgess designed the Cultural Centre with the Traditional Owners of Gariwerd. In 2006, the park visitor information building was added. It now includes the park information counter, a café, and a gift shop. Brambuk is a crucial destination for visitors to the Grampians, offering park information and accessibility features such as wheelchair access and accessible toilets. Additionally, the Trailrider all-terrain wheelchair and Sherpa Volunteers are available for park visitors.

Getting there

Grampians National Park is located in western Victoria, three hours (260 km) from Melbourne and five hours (460 km) from Adelaide. It’s easily accessible from the villages of Halls Gap, Wartook and Dunkeld and can be reached by scenic day trip from the regional towns of Hamilton, Horsham, Stawell and Ararat. Brambock: The national park and cultural centre is approximately 2 km south of Halls Gap.
